Darlene Hilde-Rolle has gained quite a following entertaining audiences throughout the Upper Midwest, Texas' Rio Grande Valley and Arizona. Her unique brand of comedy features Darlene as the beloved "Auntie Kreamsaugen," a streetwise self-proclaimed marriage counselor dressed in the traditional garb of the Midwestern farm wife. In addition to stand-up comedy, audiences have enjoyed her witty musical renditions of songs we all know, homespun wisdom and tall tales from the fabled "Snoose Hollow."

Darlene hails from a Scandinavian community in rural Minnesota and grew up in a household filled with Country/Western and Gospel music.

Her parents and siblings all sang and played instruments, some of them professionally into adulthood. Darlene and her husband, Dick Rolle call Park Rapids, MN their home. They have a son, his wife, two grandchildren and a beautiful Great Granddaughter, Lylah in Michigan.

Younger generations of Darlene's family have inherited the love of entertainment and have built and maintained "Jasper's Theater" in Park Rapids, MN - A Branson, Missouri-type variety show that is family-owned and family-run, featuring the music, magic and comedy of four generations of Darlene's family and friends- which is the home base of Auntie Kreamsaugen in summer months for the past 15 years.

Darlene Rolle's character AUNTIE KREAMSAUGEN came to life in 2005 at Jasper's Theater a family owned and operated variety show in Park Rapids, MN.

In December, 2010, Rolle's "Kreamsaugen" debuted in her first solo show "Just Plain Funny" in senior parks throughout the Rio Grande Valley of Texas.

Rolle has been awarded the FAME (Families Advocating Moral Entertainment) award of "Best Comedienne", (Feb., 2011) and "Favorite Comedienne" by the Winter Texan Times in Mission, TX (2011, 2012) garnering the most votes among all entertainers in all categories both years.

2019 marks the 15th year of her entertaining at Jaspers Theater in Park Rapids, MN. Come and celebrate with us "FUN FAMILY ENTERTAINMENT."

Fall - 2019 will again find her entertaining at the Norsk Hostfest in Minot, ND. Check høstfest.com for dates and location.
