We are close to retirement and have considered the RGV as a possibility. Could someone please let me know what medical care is like there? Both my husband and I have heart issues and I also have rheumatological problems. so at the least we would need an Internist, Cardiologist, Electrophysiologist and Rheumatologist. I have been cautioned by my Internist about retiring in a small area due to this, but it would seem to me that an area that attracts so many retirees would probably be accustomed to seeing many age-related problems. We have no idea where to start looking for a retirement place or how to find the area that would work best for us. Thank you.
