Nuevo Progreso Mexico
Originally called Las Flores, the name of the city was
changed to Nuevo Progreso about 1933.
Located seven miles south on FM 1015, this popular city
hosts U.S. visitors with gift shops, shopping markets,
nightclubs, restaurants and cocktail rooms. Bargains in
pottery, leather goods, silver jewelry, woven rugs,
hand-blown glass and many other handcrafted items.
