Rickey Pittman, Bard of the South
Rickey Pittman, Bard of the South, author of the Rio Grande Valley ABC (children's picture book) is a acoustic performer of country, folk, and Scots-Irish music.
Depending on the venue, if requested he can combine storytelling with his music (guitar vocals).
Pittman loves the Rio Grande Valley and has written original songs about the RGV. He has an extensive song list and can adapt to any performance requirement including, banquets, festivals, organizations, and any special event.
