Mercadome - The Alamo Flea Market
The Alamo Flea Market attracts hundreds of local and international vendors and customers. With a wonderful blend of Texan and Mexican cultures, you can enjoy an entire day at this market by buying goodies for the family.
Since 1984, the Alamo Flea Market has been a place for local vendors to sell used, new and homemade items. The bazaar features countless booths that offer a variety of affordable items. Everything from homemade salsa to used cars. Owned by Valley's Marketplace LLC, the market also houses the Alamo Dance Hall. Every week, this hall features Mexican musical acts that play traditional Conjunto, Tejano and Norteno music. Stages are also set up throughout the venue at every corner and feature local musicians.

Brownsville Farmers' Market
Brownsville Farmers' Market is brought to you by Brownsville Wellness Coalition. The organization collaborates with Parks and Rec to set-up the market every Saturday morning. Employees arrive as early as 6:00 am to start assembling tents for our vendors. Our staff, volunteers and vendors start arriving at 8:00 am to help set-up the market and get ready for customers. At this time free exercise classes are on-going , such as , zumba, yoga, and kids yoga. It takes a team to make the Brownsville Farmers' Market function every Saturday morning! The farmers markets would not be possible without the collaborations we have throughout the city.

Harlingen Farmers Market
Harlingen Farmers Market is open mid-October through mid-June every Saturday. We are closed from mid June to mid October due to a lack of produce from the heat and to allow our farmers time to plant their crops beginning in late August. Our hours are 3:00pm - 4:30pm. Many of our vendors begin their day at the morning McAllen or Brownsville farmers markets and then travel to Harlingen for the afternoon. By having 2 markets to sell at each Saturday, the vendors can boost their weekly sales which is a great thing!
Today with local vegetables and fruits grown using sustainable practices and organic principles, the market also offers goats milk cheese, soap, honey, bee pollen jams, jellies, salsas, preserves, breads, organic ice cream, sorbets, granola, Thai and Mediterranean foods to go, olive oil tamales, grassfed beef, wild caught gulf shrimp, kombucha, chocolate made from bean to bar, fresh flowers, fresh and dried herbs and many other treats.
